The Ski’s The Thing…

After 42 winters on Meadow Mountain, we have a pretty good handle on which skis are best suited for our conditions and terrain.  Here’s why we chose Armada and DPS to fill our quiver.

Armada builds the JJ with two lightweight woods to create a hybrid laminate core wrapped in fibreglass providing a very light, playful and poppy platform for cruising through and shredding pow.  The gentle rise of the tip and tail rocker on this super fun ski make it ideally suited for the fantastic and varied terrain you’ll experience at Selkirk.

DPS prides itself on building incredibly versatile powder skis and the Wailer 112 is no exception.  Its float and maneuverability combined with the DPS unique “paddletech” tip allows you to surf through the trees and makes riding these bad boys in deep pow effortless.

This year, we’ve added the Lotus F124 to our lineup.  The F124 is a big mountain powder ski best described as smooth, stable, a dream in deep pow and ridiculously fun.
