skiing
Our lodge is located at 1280 metres (4200 feet) and offers a beautiful, remote setting and spectacular views of Kootenay Lake and the Purcell Mountains. The lodge is warm and comfortable with a casual at-home atmosphere. In fact, we encourage you to put your feet up!
Rise and shine
Begin your day with a stimulating stretch class led by our accomplished massage therapist and yoga instructor. Then tuck into a nourishing breakfast with a view in our beautiful dining room.
Après ski
Relive your day of epic turns and face shots on the deck during après ski with a hearty selection of drinks and snacks.
And the food...
Dinner always satisfies and you’ll never walk away hungry from our table. We tend towards family style meals as the camaraderie which develops by passing around food can’t be beat. We treat our staff as members of the family and every table always has staff joining in the fun.
Guest rooms
Our guest rooms are located in a newly renovated guest wing within the lodge. Standard accommodation is double occupancy (2 single beds) with private baths. We also have 10 single rooms and 3 King suites. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis, for a modest surcharge.
Hot tub and sauna
Our outdoor covered hot tub and indoor wood-fired sauna are a perfect way to relax and unwind after a long day on the mountain. Warming your body in a hot tub or sauna can increase blood flow and allow more oxygen to get to your muscles, helping them relax and recover more quickly. Stretching before, during or after the sauna will help the muscles flush out waste and take in nutrients.
Massage therapy
Is there a better way to unwind, restore and soothe those aching muscles? Our qualified practitioner is available every day to make sure you are ready for your next day on the slopes.
Retail shop
Get your exclusive Selkirk gear from top outdoor brands like Arc’teryx, Icebreaker and Hestra. In the event you forget something, no problem, we carry the essentials too.
Bar
We stock a fine selection of craft BC beer and many of your favourite spirits and alcohols. Our wine list includes award winning wines from small BC wineries curated to complement our locally sourced food served at the lodge. Guests may bring wine from their personal collection, subject to a corkage fee.
Evenings
In the evenings, cosy up to the wood burning fireplace or belly up to the bar. Over the years we’ve developed many traditions and certain nights are designated for special activities – ping pong, shuffleboard, pool, crokinole, cards, indoor golf, our long standing lodge favourite “Crud,” or new crowd-pleaser “Fireball.”
Photo packages
Our award winning photographers will capture the memorable moments of your trip and create a stunning slideshow for you and your cat mates. Honestly, its like starring in your own ski movie!
Wifi
Think of your time at Selkirk Snowcat Skiing as your chance to unplug and enjoy the company of friends. But if you need it, wi-fi is available. There is NO cell service beyond wi-fi calling at the office, lodge or on the mountain. Inbound calls for family or work emergencies must come through the office at 1-800-799-3499 and a message will be forwarded to the lodge.
