Some of the best loved members of our staff are the ones who toil tirelessly in our kitchen. Our chefs enjoy creating new versions of old favourites with the emphasis on great tasting and hearty fare. Some of the guest faves include: Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, classic Beef Tenderloin with Yorkshire Pudding or BBQ Steak. Our salads and sides are inventive and delicious. On the more creative side, dishes like Crab-filled Dover Sole with Charred Tomato Basil Tart, Cilantro Mint Chicken Thighs with Lemongrass Thai Curry are only the beginning of our fusion inspired creations.
Desserts are often so sinful that you’ll happily break your diet. Chocolate truffle torte, apple cream cheese tart, creme brule and kahlua pannacotta are just a few of our after dinner offerings.
Breakfasts are always hot and filling and a great way to build up your energy reserves for the morning ahead. Local eggs fresh off the farm are a mainstay with our eggs benny and peppered bacon are off the charts.
Apres ski at Selkirk is legendary and the endless platters of Salad Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Grilled Prawns, Antipasto Platter with Artichoke Dip, Greek Platter with Lamb Kebabs or delicious home-made pizzas will leave you wishing there was more time before dinner!
You’ll find the atmosphere in our dining room is the same at-home feel as the rest of the lodge. We only ask that you keep your feet off the table! Some meals are plated; however, most meals are served family-style as we feel sharing platters is the best way to get to know your ski buddies new and old.
