Massage Therapist

Seeking a secondary massage therapist/practitioner to work 1 week on, 2 weeks off mid December thru first week of April, 2023. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience, earn great wages and enjoy the perks of a lodge based ski operation.

Job Requirements

  • Provide massage to guests of Selkirk Snowcat Skiing during winter operation
  • Complete daily laundry responsibilities and keep massage area clean & tidy
  • Manage supplies (oils, linens, provide music, etc.)
  • Provide 30 minute stretch class every morning of your scheduled shift
  • Assist with housekeeping 1 day/week    


  • Registered Massage Therapy certification or similar education and experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Exemplary personal hygiene
  • Proven team player attitude and willingness to pitch in if required
  • Reliable transportation (4 wheel drive preferred)
  • Ability to work 6 days/nights away from home
  • Accommodation and all meals will be provided during shifts

Lodge Caretaker position available to work from mid-December thru the second week of April 2023. Affectionately known as “Floater with the Motor” the Lodge Caretaker works efficiently behind the scenes to ensure day-to-day activities run smoothly in and around the lodge and guests have an enjoyable stay.  

Daily Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities with a few examples. Priorities however may change depending on the day: 

  • Dishwashing and kitchen duties (cleaning, some food prep, rotating stock) 
  • Snow shoveling around lodge and snowmobiles 
  • Sweeping and maintaining front deck & stairs 
  • Refuel Snowmobiles 
  • Load/unload freight and other deliveries 
  • Restock firewood  
  • Maintain and tidy recycling and garbage area 
  • Ability to follow Radio communication protocols and Emergency Response Plan  


  • Team oriented and “can do” attitude 
  • Exemplary personal hygiene  
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays 
  • Familiarity and comfortable driving a snowmobile or will train
  • Proven guest service ability with attention to detail 
  • Must be able to lift up to 23 kg.  
  • Reliable transportation is a must (preferably 4-wheel drive)
