A Lasting Legacy – Naming Rights

This season, we’ve launched an exciting new tradition to honour our long time guests.  In addition to the other perks of our guest rewards program; upon reaching the 25th year as a guest of Selkirk Snowcat Skiing, you will get to name a ski run or feature on the mountain.

Dan Miner earns Naming Rights - Selkirk Snowcat Skiing

This year, 11 guests will hit the impressive 25 year mark.  The first naming ceremony occurred last week and the entire group who accompanied 25-year-guest Dan Miner (pictured here with daughter Marilyn) participated in the name game and had a ton of laughs, mostly at his expense.  Now, and for ever more, Selkirk Snowcat guests will ski down “Miners’ Line.” Congratulations Dan!

We believe loyalty goes both ways and that there is no better way to honour the legacy of a 25 year guest than to offer these naming rights.  This honour will last in perpetuity, and based on the surprise and joy it brought Dan and his family and friends, this one really hit the mark.
